An art font is meant to be visually interesting. Art fonts need not be functional in terms of working well in large blocks of text. Indeed, they need not even be legible. Art fonts are meant to be used to write words however.ref group=notesZingbats and symbol collections are not art fonts--in fact, they're not even fonts.
