Summary

It's a high school noir coming of age Indy dramedy. Who could ask for more? This is a seriously good movie. Somehow I saw it twice, but i don't mind.

Lots of good elements, good direction, acting, good cinematography. But what makes this movie great is how everything is put together. It's like a cathedral, not just beautiful, but each piece supports the others. Like elegant puzzle pieces, with all the seams hidden.

This goes in my top ten.

I must not have been paying too closes attention the first time I watched it, probably over-nighting (going on 36 now), but I was so distracted by the story that the ending totally took me by surprise.
