• double digit annual productivity increases worldwide

2) How? / Challenges

• much needs to be done
• it won't be easy
• it will require **real** sacrifice (some combination of higher taxes, disruptive structural changes, possibly years of service and even personal danger)

It hasn't become easy, but it has become possible *in our lifetime*.

3) What?

• eliminate hunger
• stopping genocide
• peace in the middle east
• worldwide stability
• nuclear disarmament
• curing cancer
• immersive virtual reality
• off-world colonies
• faster than light travel
• dramatically increased longevity
