Cultural Ether

I want my iPhone to announce whats playing over wifi so that those near me can see what those around them are into. I also want to tag myself for the same reason. People can tune into the cultural ether, dig around, see play lists, find works by authors, etc. Broadcasters can announce their availability and consumers (a person is often both) can hotter colder signal track to find broadcasters.
