Deadly Duo
From Zanecorpwiki
Part of the Martial Arts: 50 Movie Pack. If you like 70's/early 80's martial arts, it's a deal. If you don't, it's a whole lot of affordable nothing.
Summary
A typical example. Perhaps a bit more fighting than most. On the down side, the plot is really complicated and requires an attention level frankly not warranted by the movie. On the other hand, if you don't worry too much about following the plot it's no big deal.
Details and Notes
What is it with Hong Kong films and names that have nothing to do with content? Is it a lost in translation thing or what? I'm not sure what duo the title is referring to. There's at least three main characters. The guy and girl kind of work together... but not really. Rebel List or something would be better. Whatever.
Lots of classic action. Nothing to get the kids excited, but if you're into that kind of thing. I just like the sound of it, though I tend to half watch these movies while doing something else. On great thing about this movie, though the voice of Pi Lung Sing. I'd be surprised if it's not the guy from Five Deadly Venoms as sampled in Wu Tang's Severe Punishment. I should look into the dub actors. Are there guys that made names for themselves dubbing a genre?
An interesting instance of Team Up on the Final Boss with no less than a 5 man dog pile.
