Can't Send Mail

Symptoms:

• the mail client initiates a connection, but then times out
• the mail logs show the connection, but report no error
• you're using TLS/SSL

Check the clock on the mail server. If it's drifted to far off, then the handshake can silently die. Try setting up NTP.
