Summary

The story is a mess, and the the characters a bit stiff, and the but some excellent and frequent fight sequences. Truly, some of the best modern Kung Fu sequences I've seen in awhile.

All this is irrelevant if your not a fan of the genre, then this won't mean anything to you, but there's a lot of the intricate hand and tight foot blocks that you see in the classic 70's and 80's stuff, but without the clear 1-2-3-4 beat to the moves. The movie combines a fluid choreography with realistic-ish timing. The final sequence between Dragon and the inexplicable protagonist (I never really understood what the problem was) is really nice. Classic Kung Fu Muay Thai blend.
