Edradour is Scotland's smallest distillery. They produce an excellent single 10 year, single malt Scotch.

For the money, this is a really great Scotch. It's a good starter Scotch in-so-far as it's approachable (read, not super peaty) and quite smooth. At the same time, it's got a decently complex flavor profile to interest the more experienced drinker.

Not to repeat myself, but it's really an impressive feat to create a scotch that I would recommend to a first time drinker and connoisseurs. And all this in a relatively young--10 year--and affordable scotch.
