Excellent. Get the trilogy.

Summary

The three "Spaghetti Westerns" are important moments in film history, iconic bits of western culture, and just really enjoyable movies to boot. The acting, direction, visuals, dialogue are all just superb. What's more, it's [really cheap, and might just be the best DVD bang for the buck there is.

Having said all that, my wife finds these movies boring. They are, after all, heavy on style and there are long stretches where not much seems to happen. Many long moments where characters just stare at one another. But for me, that's exactly what makes the movie so good.

Details and Notes

The only criticism I have for this movie is that some of the filler characters are not well acted. It's really not a big deal at all, but the rigid or ham-handed portrayals do stand out against what's really such a fine film.
