Hanzo the Razor: Sword of Justice

Summary

This is an interesting movie, but I wouldn't recommend it. Think Japanese exploitation soft core porn... with a rape edge. There's not a lot to recommend the film, and a few obvious reasons to avoid it.

At first, you may think that Hanzo is just a tough street wise cop from medieval Japan who walks to his own jazzy 70's beat and look out for the common man. Pretty soon, however, you learn that's he's also complete nut ball who gets from torture and has developed an elaborate penis training ritual... which he soon puts to use in the rape-questioning of his boss' mistress who is swayed by the power of his penis training and become his fast friend.

Rinse and repeat.

There's a back story that pushes the plot forward, but it's not really important. Nor does it make a lot of sense. At the end of the film, there's a bit of a heartwarming side story that has nothing to do with anything else in which Hanzo kills a the suffering father of a little boy and girl for them so they won't get arrested when they do it. Touching.
