While thinking on time scheduling/estimating tasks, I was thinking a log approach makes sense because the further out you go, the less precise you need be since it's ever more uncertain.

• Minutes: 5 - 10 - 15 - 30
• Hours: 1 - 2 - 4 - 6 (six productive hours in a US work day)
• Days: 2 - 4 - 6 (at most six productive days in a week)
• Weeks: 2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 8
• Months: 3 - 4 - 6 - 9
• Years: 1 - 2 - 4 - 7
• Decades: 1 - 2 - 4 - 7
• Centuries: 1 - 2 - 4 - 7
• Millennium: 1 -2 - 4 - 7

etc.
