Decent but gory.

Summary

Decent but gory faux-historical action. There was a bit too many contrivances tired tropes... like the obligatory "noble, headstrong woman turns out to be a deadly fighter despite having had no training". Also have to wonder why they had no arrows or missiles of any kind in the keep. And WTF's up with the armored bodice? All layered over with some thin morality about the people's rights and fighting for others.

But you know, good production values. Though the battle scenes tended toward the tight, quick shots that are so annoying.
