Summary
I saw this film 2006 at the very tail of 2009, and it was already, in a way, dated. Absolutely worth watching and very entertaining, but the movie means something different from the vantage point of 3 years later.
As a factual documentary. the film was decent, but this isn't any Dogma 95 (TODO: reference) movie. It has its point and agenda and is not shy about it. Given the context, and what has changed since the movie was filmed, it's hard to say who I would recommend this film to. I liked it, but it's like a retrospective liberal intellectual horror film. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, then check it out.
Details and Notes
As I write this, Bush is still president, but Obama is actively preparing to take the reins. The movie is a reminder of why I was so stressed in '06, but towards the end, I turned to my friend, Dan (TODO: reference), and said: The story of the movie has now become just how wrong all these people were.
