Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

This is a film all about pace and timing. It's a non-stop movie, but not in that jaggedly frenetic way that so many non-stop action movies are. It's an exciting movie, and certainly has quite a bit of action, but for all that the story stays even and smooth.
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is certainly a violent movie, but at the end of the day, most everyone that gets killed deserved it. The non-violent players, or those forced into violence against their will end the movie ahead of the game. Still, be prepared for lots of gun play and violent death.
At the end of the day, this is a candy movie. Ultimately, there is no deeper meaning or moral. It's the impeccable pace that, amongst all the action, feels restrained and controlled despite the quick pace.
