dtundo!-- wiki doesn't like close tags... weird. -- ddThe iPhone is such a good platform for tower defense games for so many reasons. One consistent problem is that it's easy to misplace a tower. Come on people! A simple undo is not so hard.
dtstrategy upgrades ddI hate it when my most powerful tower targets an enemy with 1 HP of life left while the weaker tower blasts away at the strongest guy on the board. How about some strategy upgrades? This could be pushed to the extreme in the form of 'programmable towers', but I think global upgrades would be super sweet. Don't overdo it: matches tower power to enemy HP. Don't waste it: when a type of enemy is invulnerable to a tower, it's not considered a valid target. Concentrate fire: Prevents towers from becoming ineffective when each tower gets a unique target.
dtcapture the flag ddInstead of keeping baddies from exiting the field, the objective is to keep them from taking the flag at the center of the field (or whatever). Baddies attack the towers. Brings in repair as a technology/cost. No repair also an option (you just have to rebuild).
dtexperience ddTowers can become more powerful through experience instead of or in addition to upgrades.
