Slow the Flow

Action film based around idea of "slowing the flow of time". Practitioners actually quicken their own mind, so that actions around them seem to flow. They don't actually move any faster, but are able to plan ahead and react such that their actions seem impossibly fast.

All other things being equal, a contest between practitioners is decided by who can slow the flow the most.

The rendering of this would be based on slow motion and could be combined with the "slow action" technique (TODO: have I written about that before?).

The idea stems from the slow action idea I've had for a while, which itself is no doubt influenced by bullet time and my love of choreographed Hong Kong action. The Conjoiners (find author) also influence.

TODO: have in my head nice opening scene based on students practicing, challenged by a rival school or perhaps attacked by ninja/bad practitioners.
